Fear Drives Out Hope

All good gifts come from the Father who never changes or goes back on His Word.

The best gift this side of heaven is the presence of the Holy Spirit—the present deposit on our eternal inheritance.

Our hope in the promises of our heavenly home with God will never diminish or fade.

We are not merely wishing upon an elusive star—our hope is anchored to a guarantee.

Fear, however, drives out hope.

The loss of hope mitigates our ability to bear the fruits of the spirit and showcase Christ to the world.

So fear not. God’s got this.

Do Not Be Afraid

This Scripture describes the purpose of all believers—to become sowers of the Gospel seed; to cast a wide net of the Gospel to catch the hearts of others for eternal life. But such purpose requires us to first let go of the pursuits the world offers. Letting go of the familiar may cause fear. But what you take hold of in its place is eternally better. No need to fear dropping everything to follow Jesus.
